My performance report is empty or says "not connected"

Performance ReportingAgency OSUpdated September 2026

Five causes, in the order to check them, and the fix for each.

An empty section on the Performance tab almost always has one of five causes. Start by reading the section's own empty-state text: Agency OS distinguishes between "account <id> is connected but returned no data for <dates>" and "not connected", and that sentence usually points at the cause.

1. No account ID on the Data tab

Open the client → Data and check the relevant field (GA4 property, Google Ads customer ID, Meta Ads account, and so on) has an ID and a connected indicator. If not, use ✨ Auto-detect from Windsor or pick the account, then Save sources and ↻ Refresh.

2. The account had no activity in the date range

The ID is set but the account genuinely had no spend or traffic in that window. Common with new or paused accounts. Confirm with the client before assuming something's broken.

3. Windsor.ai isn't connected to that account

This is the single most common root cause. If Windsor isn't pulling the account, Agency OS has nothing to show. Connect the account in Windsor first, then auto-detect again.

4. The section is hidden

Click the report's ⚙ Sections dropdown and re-enable it. Hidden sections stay hidden in shared links as well.

5. The first pull hasn't finished

A brand-new connection pulls full history, which takes a few minutes. Wait, or hit ↻ Refresh.

When to contact support

If Windsor shows the account, the Data tab has the right ID, and the report still fails after a refresh, it's likely a pull failure rather than "no data". Send us the client name, the section, and what the empty-state text says.
