Starting a proposal: SEO, paid or both
Open the Proposal Builder from a lead or from Tools, then choose an SEO proposal, a paid search proposal, or both in one.
Every proposal starts the same way: pick the lead, then pick what you're proposing.
Open the Proposal Builder
There are two ways in:
- From the lead. Open the lead and click Generate proposal under Proposals & Files. The lead is already selected and its call notes come with it.
- From Tools. In the left-hand menu, open Tools, choose Proposal Builder and click Start a proposal.
Proposals you've started show under In progress. Sent ones move to Sent.
Choose what you're proposing
The first step, Context, asks What are you proposing?
- SEO. Organic, local and AI search, argued from what they already rank for. See Building an SEO proposal.
- Paid Digital. Search, LSAs and feed ads on one budget, argued from what the market costs. See Building a PPC proposal.
- Both. Tick both boxes and the deck makes both cases, with one plan covering them.
Leave Industry on Detect automatically, or set it. It sets the words the deck uses, like what a lead becomes and what the business sells.
The three steps
Every proposal moves through Context (what we know about this prospect), Outline (the argument and the slides that make it) and Deck (read it, revise it, send it).
Next
Once it's built, you can change anything. See Editing a proposal with Claude. When you send it, track it on the lead: Tracking proposals and follow-ups on a lead.
