Editing a proposal with Claude
Change text in place, hand bigger changes to Claude, and save your edits as your own proposal template.
A built proposal is a starting point, not the final version. Read it through before you present it: it's written with AI, and you know the prospect. There are two ways to change it.
Quick text changes
- Click Edit on the proposal.
- Change any text, just as you would in a slide deck.
- Click Done. It may take a moment to update.
Bigger changes with Claude
- In the Proposal Builder, click Copy on the prompt.
- Paste it into Claude, connected to Agency OS. See Connecting Claude to Agency OS.
- Tell Claude what to change. You can ask for several changes in one message.
- Back in the Proposal Builder, click Refresh. The proposal updates.
Things Claude can do for you:
- Fill a section that came back empty. For example, ask it to research the prospect's website for the "who you are" section.
- Fix data that didn't pull through. If a slide doesn't render, the data usually didn't load. Name the slide, like "the competitor landscape data didn't pull through."
- Add slides. An about us or team slide, case studies or a client logo slide.
- Swap images, like the landing page examples in the paid search proposal.
- Tidy the layout, for example text running outside a box.
Make it your template
The templates are designed to be simple so you can make them your own. Ask Claude to:
- Save your edits as your core template, so every new proposal starts from your version.
- Rebrand the paid search template with your colors, fonts and logo.
Download it
When it's ready, download the proposal as a PDF or open it full size to present.
